Chapter 56: My Therapy
“Come here. Can you hang onto the boat? I’ll get up and then help you up,” Reiner said as he gestured for me to come closer.
I swam closer to him and he pulled me closer until he had his arms around me. His body is very warm even in this slightly cold water. Reiner was staring down at me with worry in his eyes.
“Are you ok? Did you get hurt?” he asked as he touched my wet hair.
“I’m not hurt. Are you?” I replied in a small voice, conscious that our bodies were touching.
Reiner put my hand on the boat before pushing himself up on the boat in one swift motion. Wow! He’s definitely fit.
“Give me your hands. I’ll pull you up,” He instructed as he offered his hands to me.
I gave him my hands and soon felt my body being pulled upwards and onto the small boat.
“Hahahaaaa!” I couldn’t stop laughing as he pulled me up. Something about all this was just so funny. We’re both wet and struggling to get back on the boat like young teenagers on a date. Reiner pulled me up and I fell with my body lying on top of him. I squirmed around as I continued to laugh, unable to hold back my laughter.
“What’s so funny?” Reiner asked as he tried to push me off his body.
