Chapter 348: Can’t Bear to Leave
An Nuan was walking down the stairs to accompany Lin Xiao Feng for breakfast before he returned to Capital City in a few hours when she overheard her husband’s conversation with her father.
They were talking about Sun Jiao and the Pei family’s reaction.
It was not surprising to hear the Pei family’s decision to protect Sun Jiao. However, An Nuan was surprised to hear that the Pei family planned to sever their relationship with Sun Jiao in the future.
Being with Pei Zhi Yi for years, An Nuan knew that the Pei family doted on this adopted daughter.

As she listened to their conversation, An Nuan walked over to the table casually and sat next to Lin Xiao Feng.
She noticed the anxious look on her father’s face. He was worried that this topic would make her uncomfortable. However, Lin Xiao Feng continued the conversation about the Pei family while picking up a few dishes for her to try.
Soon, her father found an excuse to leave, leaving both An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng alone at the dining table.
An Nuan drank the soup that her mother stewed for her before turning to Lin Xiao Feng. "The Pei family really want to break their relationship with Sun Jiao?"
