Liu Qing turned and looked at Sun Jiao inquiringly before turning to An Nuan. "Nuan Nuan." Liu Qing leaned closer to her friend. "Is it someone you know?"

"She’s the younger sister of my ex," An Nuan whispered back.

"What did she want from you?"

"I don’t know. I’m not close to her."

Seeing the two women whispering and ignoring her made Sun Jiao angrier.

"An Nuan, I’m talking to you," Sun Jiao said. "Why are you ignoring me?"

An Nuan finally turned to Sun Jiao again. "Miss Sun, I don’t think that there is anything else that we can talk about." Her brow furrowed. "I really could not understand why you keep bothering me. You already got what you wanted, don’t you?" An Nuan flashed a smile that did not reach her eyes. "You should be happy."

"It was you who told Brother Zhi Yi," Sun Jiao said. "An Nuan, you have no right to meddle in my business."

"What are you talking about?"

"Because of you, Brother Zhi Yi has been ignoring me." Sun Jiao was now on the brink of tears as she thought of Pei Zhi Yi’s cold treatment towards her."

"Pei Zhi Yi is ignoring you. But, what does that have to do with me?"
