"Nuan Nuan, you’re back." Shi Xi was the happiest when she saw her daughter.
The last time An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng returned to Y City, Shi Xi did not get to spend a long time with them. The couple returned to Y City in a hurry before they had to head back to Capital City.
"Mom..." An Nuan rushed to her mother’s embrace. The familiar scent made her feel more at ease.
Suddenly, An Nuan’s eyes and nose turned sour. She could not understand why she felt like crying.
"This girl..." Shi Xi laughed as she patted her daughter’s head. "Why are you acting as if you haven’t seen me in a long time."
"An Nuan inhaled a deep breath to calm down. "Well, I just missed you a lot."
Shi Xi heaved a sigh. She looked up and saw that her son-in-law was watching them. "Nuan Nuan, you’re already a married woman. How can you still act like a spoiled girl with me? Look. Xiao Feng is watching. Aren’t you shy?"
An Nuan straightened up quickly and looked at Lin Xiao Feng shyly.
"Mom, I don’t mind," Lin Xiao Feng said. "Nuan Nuan hasn’t seen you for a while. It’s alright if she acted a bit spoiled."
An Nuan looked satisfied with Lin Xiao Feng’s answer.
"Alright. I know that both of you are tired after your flight. Why don’t you both head upstairs to rest?" Shi Xi said. "You could take a morning flight tomorrow. Why did you have to come over this early?"
