An Nuan spent a few hours at her mentor’s place before deciding to head back to the hotel with Lin Xiao Feng.
Andrew walked the couple to the door and watched his student for a few more seconds. His expression gradually softened when he saw his wife and daughter were not with them. Andrew cleared his throat as he glanced at his student one more time. "I will try to come to your wedding with my wife and Stella."
An Nuan’s eyes lit up when she heard her mentor’s words.
"But no promises," Andrew continued. "I still have to check on my schedule first. You know that I can be busy with my classes."
An Nuan smiled until her eyes turned crescent. "Teacher, I know. You can tell me later if you decide to come. I will arrange your transport and accommodations."
An Nuan knew that her mentor was busy. For now, She was glad to hear that her mentor would try to show up.
His response this time was already different from the previous one. When she sent her wedding invitation previously, her mentor did not want to look at her as she left.
He was disappointed with her decision and no longer willing to look at her.
She had always thought that their relationship was irreparable. Who would have thought that her mentor would look for her again once he heard that she had returned to designing?
