Chapter 294: Blocking Her Way
An Nuan watched as Lin Xiao Feng walked towards the buffet table and started to pick a few snacks they could eat. Subconsciously, her lips tilted to a smile.
Being pampered like a princess felt really good.
An Nuan shifted her eyes as she heard footsteps approaching. Her eyes lit up when she recognized Madam Mu walking over. "Madam Mu," An Nuan greeted the woman.
Madam Mu was someone that the mayor’s wife had introduced her to.
An Nuan had met her a few times at the events she attended and she had always treated her well.
"Why are you alone?" Madam Mu asked. "Your husband?"
An Nuan glanced at the buffet table. "He went to check on the food."
Madam Mu smiled. She sat beside An Nuan and started chatting with her until Lin Xiao Feng returned with a plate of snacks.
"Madam Mu, hello." Lin Xiao Feng greeted the woman.
The older woman glanced at the food on Lin Xiao Feng’s plate. Her expression turned gentler as she figured that Lin Xiao Feng was getting the food for his wife.
"I saw your wife waiting for you here and decided to chat with her for a bit," Madam Mu said.
