Chapter 283: An Nuan’s Mentor
A couple of weeks later, it was the day An Nuan was supposed to meet with her mentor.
An Nuan grew restless as the day approached.
She had not seen her mentor ever since she returned to Y City and An Nuan did not know the reason her mentor wanted to look for her. An Nuan missed the old man but at the same time, she was worried that her mentor would scold her the moment they met. She was afraid of how her mentor was going to react.
Ye Qing Xin texted An Nuan the place and time of the appointment.
On the weekend, Lin Xiao Feng drove An Nuan to the hotel where the meeting was arranged.
An Nuan inhaled a deep breath when she realized that they had arrived at the location.
"Hey." Lin Xiao Feng waited until An Nuan turned to look at him. He reached for her hand and realized that it was cold. Lin Xiao Feng shot an assuring smile at his wife. "It’s going to be alright. I’m here with you,"
An Nuan inhaled a deep breath. "I know."
Lin Xiao Feng rubbed his thumb against An Nuan’s hand for a while. "Are you ready to go?"
"Hmm..." An Nuan raised her head to meet Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes. "Let’s go."
Lin Xiao Feng helped An Nuan alight from the car.
