Chapter 251: Lying was Too Difficult
An Nuan was not paying attention to Lin Xiao Feng’s question.
Right now, she had another important matter in mind.
"My mother was looking for you," An Nuan said. "Lin Xiao Feng, you didn’t close your door last night. My mother was looking for you but did not see you inside. She probably thought that you didn’t come home last night. I told her that you probably went for your morning jog. Now, Mom is waiting for you to return and have breakfast together." An Nuan spoke quickly to explain the situation they were in. "What are we supposed to do now?"
Lin Xiao Feng pondered over An Nuan’s words. He guessed that he had probably unlocked the door when he returned home last night. However, when he saw his wife, Lin Xiao Feng decided to crash into her room instead.
"Mom will keep her eyes on the entrance," An Nuan continued. "She will know that you didn’t go to your morning jog."
An Nuan tried to think of an explanation she should give her mother later.
As expected... Lying was too difficult.
Lin Xiao Feng placed a hand on An Nuan’s shoulder, hoping to calm her down. "Alright. Calm down. I know what I should do."
An Nuan looked at Lin Xiao Feng anxiously.
"Since Mom is expecting me to return from my morning run, then, I can only go on my morning run. Once Mom sees me walking through the door, she will not think of anything."
An Nuan blinked. "How are you going to leave the house?"
