"If your mother sleeps with you, then who’s going to accompany me?" An Qi did not look too happy upon hearing his daughter’s request. If his wife went with his daughter, then he would have to sleep alone.
An Nuan looked at her father pleadingly. "Dad, you sleep with my mother every day. Why won’t you let me borrow her for one night?"
"You..." An Qi felt something about his daughter’s words sounded inappropriate. However, he did not feel comfortable pointing it up. An Qi let out a cough. "What nonsense are you talking about?" He then turned to his wife, hoping that she would persuade their daughter.
Shi Xi heaved helplessly. She picked up a pillow and threw it over to her husband. "I think, you should sleep alone tonight."
An Qi’s expression quickly changed. "What do you mean?"
"I’m going to sleep with my daughter."
"Then, what about me?"
"You can sleep in this room alone today," Shi Xi said. "These past few days, I have tolerated your snoring. Just let me sleep peacefully for one night."
Father An gasped. "You never said anything about my snoring in the past."
Shi Xi ignored her husband and continued to pack up a few things. "Alright. Don’t make trouble. I’m going to accompany Nuan Nuan for one night. Coincidentally, I have a lot to talk about with her."
