Chapter 163: Teasing Lin Xiao Feng
The atmosphere in the car was silent.
An Nuan would glance at Lin Xiao Feng a few times and see the serious look on her face while he was focusing on his driving. Then, An Nuan would turn to look at Secretary Shi and the two would exchange smiles.
The nervous smile on Secretary Shi’s face was quite interesting to look at. Secretary Shi tried to act casual but An Nuan could still detect the hint of guilt in her eyes.
A while ago, Secretary Shi tried to converse with Lin Xiao Feng by mentioning a few work matters. However, Lin Xiao Feng’s answer was always short.
Secretary Shi finally stopped trying to ignite a conversation once she noticed the hint of impatience in her boss’s tone of voice.
After a while, they finally reached Secretary Shi’s residential area. The place she lived was not that far from the company.
Lin Xiao Feng parked his car at the entrance and looked through his rear mirror. "Secretary Shi, we are here/"
Secretary Shi grabbed her purse and scrambled to get out of the car. She had one foot out the door when she heard An Nuan’s voice, calling her name.
"Mrs. Lin?" Secretary Shi flashed another smile.
An Nuan pointed at something on the seat. "You forgot your documents."
Secretary Shi followed An Nuan’s line of gaze. Her cheek was burning as she picked up the documents on the seat. "Thank you for your reminder, Mrs. Lin." She gets off the car and poked her head into the car again. "Mr. Lin, Mrs. Lin, thank you for the ride."
