Chapter 161: Watching Lin Xiao Feng Work
"Secretary Shi?" Lin Xiao Feng frowned. "Why are you here this late?" He remembered that his secretary left the office around the same time as he did in the evening.
"I left a few important documents on my desk," Secretary Shi said. "I came back to get them." Her eyes shifted to An Nuan who was standing next to her boss. "Mrs. Lin, hello." The smile on her face did not reach her eyes.
An Nuan greeted the secretary politely.
She had met Lin Xiao Feng’s secretary previously.
It might be An Nuan’s imagination. But she could feel the way Secretary Shi was looking at her was strange. However, An Nuan quickly dismissed that thought.
Secretary Shi was working with Lin Xiao Feng.
Surely, she was overthinking.
"Mr. Lin, why are you here?" Secretary Shi asked.
"Just here to get a few things." Lin Xiao Feng led An Nuan to the elevator and Secretary Shi trailed after them closely.
The elevator stopped at their level and the three entered after each other. Then, there was a long silence.
An Nuan stayed closer to Lin Xiao Feng just because there was another person in the elevator. What she did not know was that Secretary Shi who stood at the front was watching An Nuan’s every movement through the reflection on the elevator’s wall.
