Madam Jiang took care of An Nuan throughout the charity dinner. She kept An Nuan close to her and introduced her to many people. The madams were older than her. A lot of them were mostly around her mother’s age.

Before the meal ended, it was announced that the money they received from the dinner would be donated to an orphanage in the city. From the look of it, it seemed that Madam Jiang and the ladies often donated their money to this orphanage.
An Nuan had donated quite a sum of money to the orphanage before she came over.
The amount she prepared was something that she had discussed with her mother previously. The amount was not that little or that many. She did not want people to think that she was a cheapskate or showing off to others.
The host announced the amount they managed to gather from the charity dinner.
The room was filled with the attendees’ clapping sound. The amount they collected this time had surpassed their previous collection.
