Chapter 141: It was Better Not to Start

An Nuan was putting away some of her stuff when she heard the knocking on her door. She glanced at the time and recalled that Lin Xiao Feng had said that he was going to call her when it was time for them to go out for dinner.
When she opened the door, An Nuan found that Lin Xiao Feng was standing in front of her, looking refreshed.
An Nuan figured that Lin Xiao Feng had a nice nap while she was tidying up the place.
"Have you unpacked your stuff?" Lin Xiao Feng asked.
"Hmm..." An Nuan nodded. "I didn’t bring a lot of things this time. It did not take too long to unpack."
However, An Nuan knew well that she would be busier once her belongings arrived from Y City a few days later. There were quite a few boxes.
"Is it time to leave for dinner?" An Nuan asked. "Just give me a few minutes. I have to change my clothes."
She was sweating for a bit while unpacking. She would feel uncomfortable going out in her current shirt.
"Alright." Lin Xiao Feng nodded. "I’ll wait for you downstairs. Just take your time. There’s no need to rush."
Seeing that Lin Xiao Feng had turned around and left, An Nuan closed the door behind her and changed. She looked into the mirror and put on light makeup so that she would not appear too pale.
