Chapter 109: Lin Xiao Feng’s Return
After more than a month of busying himself with his project in Capital City, Lin Xiao Feng was finally able to free his time and went back to Y City. He went home first to look for his grandfather before going to look for his wife next door.
As soon as Lin Xiao Feng walked into the courtyard, he noticed An Nuan’s nephew, An Yi Ran was crouched next to the large tree. Lin Xiao Feng observed the little boy for a while before walking over.
"An Yi Ran," Lin Xiao Feng called and watched as the young boy turned to look at him. "What are you doing?"
The little boy’s eyes turned crescent when he saw Lin Xiao Feng. "Little Uncle."
Lin Xiao Feng’s smile turned gentler.
He always felt that ’Little Uncle’ sounded better than ’Uncle Lin’.
"Little Uncle, when did you arrive?" An Yi Ran asked.
"Just now." Lin Xiao Feng crouched next to the little boy. "What are you doing?"
An Yi Ran shifted his gaze to the ground and showed Lin Xiao Feng the thing that had caught his attention a while ago.
Lin Xiao Feng followed his line of gaze and saw that the little boy was looking at a spider on the tree trunk. "Why are you playing here alone?"
"Well, Mom was busy talking with Grandma. And Dad was with Grandpa in the study."
