Chapter 71: Get Along Nicely
Lin Xiao Feng found an excuse for him and An Nuan to leave after helping the Zhang couple tidy up the place.
Zhang Yu Han had prepared quite a lot of food for their barbecue night. He packed the leftover food for everyone and divided them among his friends before they left.
An Nuan thought of her grandfather as she looked at the food container in her hand.
She remembered her grandfather mentioning Grandpa Zhang’s barbecue recipe and guessed that her grandfather would be happy that he would get to try the meat.
Li Qin Yao walked the couple to the door and stopped to chat with An Nuan for a bit. The girls made a plan to hang out again, this time without the men around.
When An Nuan turned around to look for Lin Xiao Feng, she noticed the man was on the phone. The serious look on his face made her wonder if she should go over or wait until he was done with his phone call.
Lin Xiao Feng raised his head while An Nuan was still hesitating. Their gazes met and Lin Xiao Feng flashed An Nuan a smile. He waved his hand, motioning An Nuan to come closer.
Lin Xiao Feng ended his phone call while watching An Nuan approach closer.
"Are you ready to leave?" Lin Xiao Feng asked as he slid the phone into his pocket.
"Hmm..." An Nuan nodded. He watched Lin Xiao Feng turn to walk to his car and follow him.
Lin Xiao Feng helped An Nuan with the door before he slid into the driver’s seat.
