Chapter 49: You Deserve that Slap
The smile on Sun Jiao’s face did not falter even though An Nuan was ignoring her. When she first saw An Nuan standing alone in front of the store, Sun Jiao knew that she should take the chance to pester her.
These past few days, Pei Zhi Yi has been ignoring her because of An Nuan. Of course, she was not going to let An Nuan go that easily.
Since she was not in a good mood, An Nuan could not be happy as well.
"An Nuan, don’t you know that Brother Zhi Yi has been searching for you these past few days?" Sun Jiao continued to trail after An Nuan when she saw her turning in another direction. "How about this? I’ll call Brother Zhi Yi and tell him that I have found you. Then, we can sit together and talk."
An Nuan stopped on her track when Sun Jiao blocked her path again.
Her teeth clenched when she saw the woman stubbornly pestering her when she was clearly not in the mood to argue.
"Sun Jiao, what do you want from me?" An Nuan barked.
Instantly, Sun Jiao put on a pitiful look on her face.
The woman’s reaction made An Nuan’s blood boil. She hated it each time Sun Jiao pulled that pitiful look.
"I have already separated from Pei Zhi Yi," An Nuan continued. "You should be happy right? He left me on my wedding day to look for you. Since you like him that much, why don’t you go and be with him? Stop pestering me, alright?"
"Don’t say it like that. An Nuan, you know that Brother Zhi Yi only has you in his heart." Sun Jiao took out her phone, showing An Nuan that she was serious about calling Pei Zhi Yi. "I’m sure that there is a misunderstanding going on between us. An Nuan, I’ll call Brother Zhi Yi and explain everything, alright?"
