Chapter 44: I’m Married
A few days later, Lin Xiao Feng packed his bag to return to Capital City.
Just like he had told An Nuan, his friend, Feng An Yu came to pick him up from his parents’ house early in the morning.
Lin Xiao Feng opened the door and slipped into the passenger’s seat.
"Good morning," Feng An Yu paused to give Lin Xiao Feng a look over. Then, the corner of his lips turned to a teasing smile. "Lin Xiao Feng, I haven’t seen you in a while but you are in a good mood. Is it because you are now a married man?"
Lin Xiao Feng suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. "Don’t talk nonsense. I’m always in a good mood."
Feng An Yu scoffed. "Right. I have forgotten. Congratulations on your marriage. Seeing you and An Nuan become husband and wife is not something I thought I would see. I thought that both Yu Han and Ah Yuan were joking."
If it was not for the photos that his friends had sent to her, Feng An Yu would not believe their words.
Among the brothers, who were not aware of Lin Xiao Feng’s feelings towards An Nuan.

"But... is it alright for you to leave for Capital City now?" Feng An Yu asked. "You’re a newlywed and you are leaving your wife like this?"
"I’ll be returning in a few days. There are still a lot of things for me to do." Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. "I heard that Su Ming Yuan is planning to compete with you. He said he would not be the last to get married."
