Chapter 34: In a Good Mood
Lin Xiao Feng found an excuse to leave once the meal with the An family had ended.
An Nuan walked him to the door with a concerned look on her face. She thought that Lin Xiao Feng was going to stay around longer. Unexpectedly, he chose to leave early.
"Didn’t we agree that we should talk?"" An Nuan spoke as they reached the car. "You’re leaving now?"
"Hmm..." Lin Xiao Feng nodded. "I have some matters to attend to. Let’s continue our discussion tomorrow." He remembered seeing An Nuan stifling her yawn a few times while she chatted with her parents.
Although Lin Xiao Feng had a lot to say to An Nuan, he figured it was better to let her rest first.
"I’ll pick you up tomorrow for lunch?" Lin Xiao Feng suggested.
An Nuan considered his suggestion and nodded. "Alright."
His heart skipped a beat. Lin Xiao Feng could not describe his happiness, thinking he would have a date with An Nuan tomorrow.
"You just returned today," Lin Xiao Feng said. "An Nuan, you should rest first. I’m sure that you should be tired."
"Hmm..." An Nuan nodded again. She too was planning to return to her room and rest. Her body was too tired after sitting on the plane for too long.
Lin Xiao Feng turned to his car and hesitated. Then, he turned around and waved his car key to An Nuan. "Take this."
