Chapter 31: No Longer Stood a Chance
Lin Xiao Feng dropped Ren Di at her place before he left with An Nuan.
The atmosphere was lively while Ren Di was still in the car. But now that she was not around, everything has turned silent. Lin Xiao Feng glanced at An Nuan a few times and noted that she was busy looking out the window.
It has been a week since he last saw An Nuan.
Now that their relationship had changed to a husband and wife, Lin Xiao Feng realized that he had been paying more attention to her. His usually steady heart was beating faster at the sight of her.
There were a lot of things that he wanted to say to her. However, Lin Xiao Feng changed his mind when he saw the relaxing look on An Nuan’s face.
Lin Xiao Feng knew that An Nuan had been gone for a week to clear her mind. He wondered what she had thought about while she was gone and what she had decided to do next.
Lin Xiao Feng was stealing another glance at An Nuan when she suddenly turned to look at him. Fortunately for him, An Nuan had not noticed that he was watching her,
"You..." Lin Xiao Feng chose to speak first, wanting to get rid of the awkward atmosphere between them. "An Nuan, have you been well?"
"Hmm... I’m good." An Nuan flashed a smile as their eyes met briefly. She wondered if Lin Xiao Feng was worried about her while she was away on vacation. "I enjoyed my vacation in T Country."
