Chapter 17: How Long He Should Wait?
Lin Xiao Feng found Zhang Yu Han in the hotel's coffee house.
They sat near the terrace as the place was much more private for them to talk.
Lin Xiao Feng drank a glass of water and watched his friend wave to the waiter to ask for the glass to be refilled.
"I forgot to say this..." Zhang Yu Han paused to flash a smile. "Xiao Feng, congratulations."
While the boys were having fun teasing Lin Xiao Feng in the chat group, Zhang Yu Han chose to watch their exchange in silence.
Lin Xiao Feng smiled. "Thank you. I also want to thank you for helping me."
Zhang Yu Han raised the glass in his hand. "Don't mention it. We are brothers."
Lin Xiao Feng's expression turned gentler as he thought of his friendship with the other five boys.
The six of them were from the same circle. They often played basketball together in high school and later became close. Lin Xiao Feng did not expect that their friendship would last for so long.
"The Pei family did not cause trouble for you, did they?" Lin Xiao Feng asked.
He remembered seeing Pei Zhi Yi's family and friends outside the hall before An Nuan decided to change the groom. As the wedding ceremony started, Lin Xiao Feng noticed that none of Pei Zhi Yi's friends and family were no longer around.
