Chapter 15: My Responsibility
Once the ceremony ended, Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan were taken to the restroom for a quick break. Later, they were going to come out again to meet their guests.
Lin Xiao Feng stood up straight as he listened to the wedding planner's words. While An Nuan was looking distracted, Lin Xiao Feng was listening with focus. As the substitute groom, there were many things that he was unaware of.
Once the wedding planner left, only the newlywed couple were left in the room.
Lin Xiao Feng observed his newlywed wife briefly with a mixed feeling.
He was happy that An Nuan had become his wife. But unlike other brides, there was no trace of happiness on An Nuan's face.
"Are you alright?" Lin Xiao Feng asked.
An Nuan raised her head and finally met Lin Xiao Feng's gaze. A forced smile appeared on her lips. "I'm fine. Just relieved that everything is going smoothly."
The light in her eyes flickered.
She now has become Lin Xiao Feng's wife. From now on, she could no longer return to Pei Zhi Yi's side. The realization made her both sad and relieved at the same time.
