Chapter 9: I Can Let You Punch Me Later
After a phone call with his grandfather, Lin Xiao Feng walked towards the bride and groom's waiting room again where An Nuan should be talking to her parents.
As soon as she approached, Lin Xiao Feng saw his mother, Song Luan standing in front of the door. Her posture showed that she was waiting for someone.
The sound of his footsteps made Song Luan turn around. A hint of relief appeared on her face as soon as she saw her son.
Song Luan walked over and met Lin Xiao Feng halfway.
"Mom." Lin Xiao Feng looked at his mother in puzzlement, wondering why his mother looked anxious. "Why are you here?"
"Xiao Feng." Song Luan held her son's hands. "What is it about you marrying An Nuan?"
It was then that Lin Xiao Feng realized that his mother was in the room when An Nuan announced that she planned to change the groom.
"Mom, it is exactly as what An Nuan said. An Nuan is looking for a replacement groom and I had volunteered to marry her."
Song Luan stared at her son for a long time as if trying to find out whether her son was serious.
But then again, Song Luan realized that her son was not someone who would joke around, especially about something as serious as this.
"Mom, I don't mind being a replacement," Lin Xiao Feng said. "I still wanted to marry An Nuan."
