Chapter 637: When you realize silly talk about mundane things is a privilege
I realized that morning had come when we were in the bathroom, lazily washing our sticky skin and soaking in the warm bath. I couldn’t have the water too scalding because Natha didn’t like it, but I’d rather have his cold chest in the tub than the perfect temperature.
"Ahaha! I looked like a chew toy!"
I raised my arms and grinned at the bite marks all over them. There were more around my thighs and shoulder, along with hickeys that almost looked like bruises. Natha wasn’t playing around this time--he really made it so even my natural regeneration wouldn’t completely erase the marks.
Of course, I would ask him to do it again before I returned to the Human Realm.
"You look too happy for a chew toy," Natha poked my grinning cheek.
"That’s because you were the one chewing me!" I giggled and lightly bit the tip of his poking finger.
He grimaced and rubbed the marks, asking me for the sixth time if it wasn’t hurt. It stung at first, but in a good way--you know, like the kind of stinging pain when he entered me. I couldn’t help but smile and giggle while looking at them. It was hard to make Natha do it, since he hated the thought of causing me physical pain. But it seemed like this constant separation frustrated him as much as I did.
Thankfully, he only felt guilty for about ten minutes this morning before started admiring his artwork.
"Oh, the sun is up!" I blinked as the sunlight streamed through the vent in the bathroom, making the wet tile sparkle. "I better go and see Shwa after this."
"Huh?" Natha stropped stroking the bite marks and tilted his head. "You’re going to the nursery?"
"Of course?"
