Chapter 635: Role play is the best foreplay
Two teleportations in a day was not something I would recommend people do.
I had to bend my trembling knees and manage my breath for a while. I swore I wouldn’t go near an amusement park for the next year. Jade even patted my back in response, cheering me up.
But it was fine! Just by inhaling the air of the Castle, I was already fine!
I looked around the room, finding shelves filled with baby paraphernalia and gifts from people for Shwa. Since my last teleportation happened during a meeting, we decided to place the token in a room instead. Coincidentally, we had a room with enough space that was already being protected by all kinds of formations: the nursery complex.
Of course, I didn’t want to accidentally wake up Shwa during my teleportation, so we decided to keep the token in the baby storage room. Actually...it was more of a baby treasure room, seeing all these luxurious gifts lying around.

"Jade, keep quiet, okay? It’s late already," I put my finger on my lips, and Jade clasped its beak while nodding.

It was already midnight here--past that, actually. I was sure even the Lord himself had gone to bed. Shwa would probably wake up in an hour or two, but that was why we didn’t have to surprise him deliberately. Let’s not disturb the nannies’ shift.
"Jade, go and stay with Shwa tonight," I whispered while patting my cloak and making sure I was presentable. "I have a secret meeting with Natha."
The little bird touched my cheek while letting out a whiny sound. [Jade can’t go to Papa?]
