The Demon Lord's Bride (BL)

Chapter 452: Look, I’m not made for speeches, okay?

"Here’s come the newly wedded couple!" Arta greeted us like an MC or something, spreading her arms wide in front of the garden and announcing our appearance.

The sounds of whistling and applause filled the garden again, and I bashfully looked at all of my guests spreading on the garden tables. Initially, I had this thought of having a long table where everyone could sit together. Unfortunately, it was impossible in the garden; I would have to do it in the field, but that wasn’t exactly the flowerful venue I envisioned.

And so, Angwi and the other demons had put several tables around the garden, with flower beds in full blooms between us. Now that I thought about it, it was better this way. They all might be my friends and family that I cherished, but they also came from different backgrounds. While it would be nice if they could blend, I didn’t want my happy event to be filled with awkwardness.

Also...it was hard to blend with a Sacred Guardian or a High Shaman, so...

I kind of felt sorry for Lesta though, who had to sit between his obsessive vampire lover and his doting vampire-in-law. He couldn’t even muster his usual relaxed, diplomatic smile. Malta was sitting at that table too, and seeing there was an empty chair there, it should belonged to Arta.

A family meeting! Nice, wasn’t it?

The other vassals sat at another table, and Caba had finally stopped crying, left with puffed eyes. My friends--transmigration-friends--were together at a slightly larger table, simply because Izzi was still operating the video recording device; now with three girls hounding him about the angles and whatnot. Poor guy.

But why was Zia not there? Obviously, because she was babysitting my child at the ’family’ table with Amarein and Ignis, who could now leisurely lay on a tablecloth without fearing it would catch on fire accidentally.

The last table, the biggest one, was for the servants--although, right now, they were still busy serving the food that Angwi had prepared for us since dawn.

"Augh--what is this? What have you been doing inside?" as expected, Arta was looking at the crease in my clothes disapprovingly. "Don’t tell me you already have your first ni--"

"Are you crazy?!" I clasped her mouth shut. "There’s my child over there!"
