Chapter 328: That time I become a drug dealer for fairies in another world
How absurd.
Never in my wildest imagination had I pictured a fairy eating a candy, much less a whole group. The meadow was filled with the swirling elemental bursts, that instead of clashing, were tangling with each other. Still chaotic, but also fun, like fireworks.
Along with these elemental bursts was a buzzing sound like all kinds of bugs yelling and laughing at the same time. They ate the candy silently, staying still in the air, but afterward...when the sugar got fully digested in their system, they immediately swooshed around like balloons losing gas.
"I guess no one ever gave them candies?" I whispered.
"Not that I recall," Amarein, who had moved from the bridge, had the corner of her lips twitched in amusement. "Truly fascinating."
"Do you think they’ll agree to it?"
"As long as you give them candy, perhaps?"
I pondered for a bit before peeking inside my storage ring. Jade’s giving spree had consumed three jars of candy we just bought from Sarteriel, and although I thought we bought too much, I found myself lacking right now.
Hmm...would it be alright if I use the candy from the demon realm instead?
"The candy you brought from the demon realm," Natha suddenly said, as if he could read my thoughts--well, he could, technically. "You should only use it for a ’special’ reward. It contains more sugar, and has more flavors. You should save it for when they start to act naughty."
I gasped and leaned closer to him. "You mean, using it as a stick and carrot thingy?"
