Chapter 290: Didn’t know vampire marriage came with gps tracker
"Eruha! Eruha!" I opened the door to the Castle’s main office--not the Lord’s office--looking for my teacher with Zia in tow. "Is Eruha here?"
The office--which was a big lounge with several doors leading to the private offices for the vassals, several desks for the Castle’s staff, big tables for meetings, and a sitting area--was quite scant. There were only a few staff there, who immediately bowed to me.
"Sir Eruha is not here, Young Master," one of them told me, but one of the private offices opened and Lesta peeked out of the room.
"Young Master?"
"Lesta!" I greeted the demon cheerfully. If there was someone who could summon Eruha here it would be his Eternal. "Can you call Eruha here?" I asked while walking toward his room.
"Sure, but why do you want to see him suddenly?" Lesta opened the door to his office wider, and told his assistant to leave the room for a while as we stepped inside.
"I want to ask his mother something."
Lesta stiffened, blinking at me like he was just hearing a horror story. Feeling mischievous, I tilted my head and poked his arm. "Why? Are you nervous about having to meet your mother-in-law?"
"Huh? Huh? What? Did Lesta and Eruha get married? When?" Zia jumped to the other side of the demon, peering into his exasperated face.
"Something similar," I told her with a giggle, and Lesta sighed while walking to the couch. It looked more like a working desk, however, with all papers and parchments strewn around, as well as books piling up.
"Well, I won’t refute that," Lesta swiftly changed his stiffened expression, back to his usual calm self. It was kinda cool honestly, how casually he admitted that. His dark eyes flicked at me and he asked with a smile. "Wouldn’t you feel nervous if His Lordship’s parents were still around?"
