Chapter 226: Everything good in life needs to be savored slowly and thoroughly
I could control myself fine outside, when we were among all of those other people. Well...as much as ’control’ goes with my continuously blushing face. But when it was just the two of us, I couldn’t help it. I grabbed his lapel and brought his face down, kissing him fervently as the bedroom door closed behind us. And he grabbed me as if an instinct, kissing me back without wasting a breath as we moved hurriedly to the bed.
He stumbled into the bed and I climbed on top of him, impatiently working his clothes off. But damnit! Why would he wear such a complicated outfit? I had to stop kissing him so I could look at the difficult button...cuff...whatever that is! I bit my lips in annoyance and yanked the things off. Who cares? He had a lot of it.
"Sweetheart--"
I shut him off with a press of my lips. Less talk more action, my Lord. I chased his cold lips and less cold tongue, slipping my hands behind his neck to shed his outer coat. Even as I kissed him and touched him and straddled him, I felt so impatient and felt like we were moving too slow.
Like he was moving too slow.
"Nat," I whined against his lips, biting him, coaxing him. "Nat!"
But instead of moving faster as I wanted him to, Natha grasped my nape and pulled me off him, stroking my back and whispering softly. "Calm down, sweetheart," he kissed my cheek tenderly, too tenderly. "Slow down,"
"I don’t want to slow down!" I pursed my lips and grabbed his hair, looking at him in annoyance. "I’m...I feel..." I pushed his shoulder and hit him. "Why are you so calm about this?!"
The impatience I had started to turn into anger. What was wrong with this demon? He was the one who proposed to me out of nowhere in the middle of the yard! He was the one who made me all flustered and so...so...wanton!
But why did he act all calm and tell me to freaking calm down?!
