The Demon Lord's Bride (BL)

Chapter 175: I didn’t ask for this weird big sister

"Now, Honey, let’s go have some tea with my friends," she said with a very nice smile, pulling me gently but insistently after we were done bidding goodbye to Natha who had to meet with the important people of this city.

It wasn’t like I had anything to do, so I just let her bring me further into the mansion. "Ah, the one who lived here too?"

"Uh-huh," she replied with a small chuckle, and I could hear Arta let out a sigh behind me, which got me even more curious.

Who exactly were these people? It seemed like Natha used to visit them in the past, but for what purposes? Business?

She brought me through the hallway, into what seemed to be a wide drawing room. Though the weather had grown colder as the winter was approaching, the door connecting the room to the garden was opened. I took a chance to observe the room, and if I didn’t know better, I would think the house owner was this fox, whose name turned out to be Rubha. It was decorated in a way that someone with a minimalistic style like Natha wouldn’t like. It was pretty though, somewhat eclectic, and felt warm.

"Honey, come quickly before the tea gets cold," the fox waved and pulled me again since I was stopping right before the door.

I hurriedly followed her and stepped into the field of neatly trimmed grass. There was a beautiful white rotunda surrounded by autumn flowers, beneath the shade of a big tree that was towering over the yard. Even from the distance, I could see a number of demons, and heard the sound of their laughter.

Since it seemed like we were going to gather in a small space, I told Ignis and Jade to go have some adventures by themselves around the estate, because the Salamander’s body heat might caused problem for the others.

As we were getting closer, the laughter stopped and was replaced by a sudden sound of squeal. I saw them waving, six demons in total; two had animal ears just like Rubha, one was a succubus, and the other three I couldn’t identify. But there was something in common that they share; just like Rubha, they were all pretty and alluring, both male and female alike. Some wore thin, quite revealing clothes even though it was cold. But even the one who wore a fur coat had them made in vibrant colors and intricate design--very vocal, if I must say.

"Oh-ho, so this is the sweetheart," one of them, the one with cat ears and tail, commented the moment I was closed enough that I could pick them apart easily.

Uhh...it was embarrassing enough when Natha called me that in front of others. But hearing it came from another’s mouth? Awkward.
