"Soleia!"
Rafael stood at the doorway, his shoulders rising and falling as he panted, his eyes searching for Soleia’s. However, they quickly went to the silver-haired woman who stood in the room, almost blocking his view.

"Is what she said true?" Soleia’s question caused Rafael’s concentration to break for a split second. The blood tendril loosened just enough to allow Elinora the time to inhale deeply, her jaw dropping as she gulped in the much-needed oxygen.
Rafael’s attention, on the other hand, was placed entirely on Soleia.
