The Hidden King's Stolen Wife

Chapter 36: Long Meandering Route

Soleia furrowed her brows as she tried to recall past events.

"I got kidnapped, woke up in the sewers... you rescued me and we found the secret entrance back to her store. And we took a lot of her gems," Soleia said, her lips lifting at the reminder of the precious gems that were nestled on her very body.

Then just to check that Sir Ralph still had his gems, she shifted her thighs to press against his own. There was something sharp and pointy jabbing her, which made her feel more at ease.

Rafael Biroumand stopped moving. Did Soleia try to fondle his thigh with her own? How forward of her! A pleased grin crossed his face, but he continued to remain calm.

"Princess, is something the matter?"

"Nothing, just checking if you still have the precious jewels," Soleia said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"You could have just asked," Rafael pointed out so matter-of-factly that Soleia felt embarrassed. "Of course, if you’re talking about my family jewels, I can assure you that they are present, and in great working condition."

"Family jewels... That’s not what I care about!" Soleia’s face colored as she realized what he was referring to, and she smacked his back in irritation.

However, to Rafael, her blows were so light that they were nothing more than the batting of a kitten’s paw to him. With her flushed face, messy hair, and his hands on her thighs, Rafael’s mind easily went straight into the gutter and made its home there.
