I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra

Chapter 163

Suddenly, a sharp arrow sliced through the air and shot towards me. I quickly turned my head to the left as the arrow shot past me with a centimeter.

"So close," I muttered and turned to the direction where the arrow came from. I spotted the enemy archer, perched behind a rock formation, readied a second arrow coated in magic.

Without hesitation, I struck down his second arrow mid-flight with my dagger, redirecting its path harmlessly away.

The archer frowned, clearly frustrated. He didn’t want to engage in a direct confrontation. "Koshka! Handle their monkey hanging in the trees!" he barked at a teammate behind him.

I scoffed at the comment. Was this guy really trying to insult me?

The archer redirected his focus and aimed his bow in another direction, this time focusing where Ezekiel and Alena were charging in.

I also glanced over just in time to see an awkward scene. Immediately, I felt like I could hear a clear background music of the beginning of starting a war.

"...What the..." I muttered in disbelief.

I could hardly believe my eyes. He looked as if he’d stepped out of an epic fantasy, standing steadfast in the middle of the arena with his eyes closed, face turned slightly upward to feel the wind against him. Even as Ezekiel and Alena surged toward him, he maintained an air of calm, his katana still sheathed at his side.

"Tsubasa no Kaze1, be free and wild like the wind," he intoned quietly, almost like a mantra.

With those words, he opened his eyes, revealing a fierce intensity. Time seemed to freeze for a moment as Ezekiel’s claymore and Alena’s saber closed in on him. I could see their determination, a dance of combat preparing to unfold.
