Chapter 161
The midterms finally began. However, Glacial Sphere Academy’s second-semester midterm period felt emptier than the first. The absence of reporters and family members were due to the mess that happened during the last midterm.
Stories even circulated among the students about the faculty that are considering eliminating midterms entirely to avoid further disruptions.
As I walked through the crowded hallways, the atmosphere was thick with tension and anxiety. Students clustered together, faces a mix of stress and disappointment, all echoing the same sentiment: "Today’s test was way too hard."
"Yeah, what was up with that hell-mode difficulty? Shouldn’t we sue the one who made the tests?" one student grumbled, slumping against the wall, his notebook hanging limply at his side.
"Pussy, just because of the difficulty you want to sue the professor?" another shot back, snickering.
"Hahaha," came a chorus of laughter, ringing through the air.
"Whatever! How many points did you get anyway?" one of them asked, eyebrows raised in challenge.
"26," came the defiant reply.
"Over a hundred and fifty points? Lol," another chimed in, laughter erupting like a wave.
"Stupid, hahaha," the first student shot back, his frustration giving way to laughter.
I couldn’t help but listen to their conversation as I pass by them.
