Chapter 138
Just then, Cypher slid into the seat next to me, a faint smile on his face. "Hey, here, have some snacks first." He interrupted my concentration, handing me a piece of chocolate.
"Here, have some snack first." He interrupted me and handed me a piece of chocolate.
"Oh, thanks," I smiled, having gotten used to him offering snacks. Without thinking, I opened my mouth in expectation just like in the past, where he would also hand feed me the same.
He paused, clearly surprised but amused, before unwrapping the chocolate. Just as he was about to pop it into my mouth, out of nowhere, Angela squeezed in between us, snatching the chocolate and swallowing it whole.
Little did they know, Angela was watching them the whole time so when she saw that the were getting a little romantic, she felt a surge of jealousy as she quickly interrupted them.
I blinked in shock. "What the—?" I quickly look to who it was and it was Angela angrily munching on the chocolate.
Angela looked amused, the remnants of chocolate already smeared on her lips. "Sorry! I suddenly craved for chocolate, and I couldn’t help myself!" She flashed a peace sign, as if that made it okay.
"But that was mine..." I muttered, feeling the hunger to eat something sweet to keep me energize.
Cypher quietly unwrapped another chocolate, "Here-" and was about to give it to me when Angela snatched it again.
"Hey!" I protested, glaring at her as she giggled.
"Hehe," she laughed, oblivious to my annoyance. "Like I said, I was craving chocolates."
