Chapter 90
Whitney glanced at the door when she heard the bell chime, and she turned to see Cypher entering the boutique. He looked around, somewhat out of place in the lavish surroundings, but his presence immediately caught her attention.
’And here I was beginning to think that he wouldn’t show up.’
"Cypher! Over here!" she called out, waving him over wearing a fake smile.
Cypher spotted her and made his way over, his expression still a bit reserved. "Whitney," he greeted her with a small nod.
Whitney took a moment to admire how well Cypher is handsome, even in his casual attire although no one can beat Edge on how he’s more handsome than the rest of the guys. She couldn’t wait to see Edge drooling over her and Angela seething in jealousy.
"I’m glad you could make it," she said, trying to keep the enthusiasm in her voice under control. "I’ve already picked out a few dresses to try on, but first, let’s get you fitted for a suit."
The boutique staff, ever attentive, quickly approached them. "Sir, if you would follow us, we have a selection of suits that would be perfect for the occasion."
Cypher gave Whitney a hesitant glance but nodded and followed the staff to the fitting area.
Whitney’s eyes gleamed with mischief as she saw Angela’s name flashing on her phone screen. A plan began to form in her mind, one that would undoubtedly stir up some jealousy. She quickly answered the call, keeping her voice casual.
"Hey, Angela!" Whitney greeted, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
"Whitney, where are you?" Angela asked, her tone laced with curiosity.
