Why are civic organizations suddenly being brought up?

Had I ever been involved with them before?

After I announced I was starting a charity foundation, all sorts of organizations had tried to approach me.

I coldly rejected all their offers.

At my words, the lawyer also scratched his head like he couldn’t make sense of it.
