Chapter 645: Her Confidence [2] (Edited)
Rynne stood across the arena, her form almost unrecognizable beneath what looked like a massive, black-and-silver suit of armor.
Rynne stood across the arena, her form encased in what looked like a sleek exosuit. It had the presence of a small mecha.
Matte black plates overlapped with silver edges, and lines of pale blue runes pulsed across each segment like living circuits. Every rune brightened and dimmed in a rhythm that matched a breathing.
Two rune-etched plates hovered at her flanks. They rotated in slow orbits.
Anchored to her back was a staff taller than she was.
Michael watched the system as a whole.
"So this is the Armorer," he said quietly.
In fact, Michael wasn’t wrong. The Armorer class really was just like that—but to describe it more accurately, in the supernatural world, one could call them arms dealers.
It was a Special Grade class—rare and powerful. Every level granted the user five free attribute points, putting them on par with other high-grade professions in terms of growth potential. But to maintain balance, the class came with a heavy limitation: its strength didn’t come directly from the user, but from what they could build and power. The Armorer’s combat ability relied almost entirely on external items—armor, weapons, mechanical constructs, and rune engines. Without them, even a high-level Armorer could easily be outmatched by a well-trained combatant of a simpler class.
Rynne’s case, however, was different. Exceptionally different.
Her uniqueness came from two things—her physique and her world.
Rynne possessed a rare constitution that allowed her lifeforce to grow in proportion to her mana. In other words, the more mana she had, the stronger and denser her life energy became. This created a peculiar harmony between vitality and energy flow, turning her into an almost inexhaustible power source.
