Chapter 93: Asgard
Third Person P.O.V.
"You're late." A booming voice echoes in the observatory of the Nine Realms
"Sometimes parties can be as burdensome as battles, my friend." Thor says as he walks closer to the post where Heimdall, the Watcher of Worlds stands, his back straight and holding his sword handle with his two hands.
"Then you are doing one of the two wrongly." Heimdall says, his stoic face letting escape a little of mirth
Thor walks till he is side by side with his old friend. Heimdall and Thor have known each other for a long time. The Gatekeeper of the Bifrost is the older brother of Sif, and even though he was not an always present member of their "Young gang", he sometimes covered for them when they got in trouble.
"How fare the stars, my friend?"
"Shining like Always, till they are not... I can see the beginning and the end of millions of stars, and the Convergence is still an event above it all. Few are Lucky enough to feel it, and even fewer are able to see it like me... I'm really fortunate." Heimdall says in his strong voice.
His Gift gave him wisdom beyond his years. Sometimes Thor feels like he is talking with his Father, but Heimdall is still his good friend.
"I bet it is really beautiful..." Thor comments to please him, but he can't fake the slight lack of interest in something so... elusive or abstract.
