"Is it the husband's corpse?"
The man with the parted hair looked at the exposed hand, hesitated for a moment, then put away the ghost creature and reached out to pull it out.
As he pulled out the hand, the shelf collapsed, scattering debris everywhere. A headless corpse appeared before him, dressed in a tidy groom's suit. The neck's severed edge was bloody, not scabbed over, shockingly bright red.
"Found it, it's the groom's body!" The man with the parted hair was overjoyed, walked to the room's door, and called Black Tiger and the female player over.
But as he turned back, he heard some noise, his pupils contracted, and everything went black...
"Where is it?"
Black Tiger and the female player rushed over at the sound, pushed open the door, and in the messy room, they saw the headless corpse, but there was another body.
It was the man with the parted hair, his head twisted off and placed on the shelf, bloodied beyond recognition.
The female player's expression changed, gripping her ghost creature warily as she looked around.
