Blacksmith of the Apocalypse

Chapter 1356: Divine Dexterity Pill

Returning from his meal, Seth faced the biggest hurdle of this project. Neeco and Nädel were both busy, and there was no other craftsman tier tailor here, except for him. The blacksmith had grinded his sewing skill to

lv.2, to be able to see the effects of armors like the death-set he made in cooperation with Boos.

This technically made him the third-best tailor of Minas Mar and meant that he would have to sew the gloves of wing leather himself. In preparation, Seth popped a pill. The Divine Dexterity Pill was one of the drugs they had bought in Spring City.

An additional 5 points in Dexterity brought his base to 450, while it was over 700 with all buffs combined. Just enough to make him comfortable in trying to process the leather to a similar degree as Nädel or Neeco would.

At least Seth had an advantage over other tailors. Despite being wing leather, it was the leather of a massive dragon so it was extra thick. Normal tailors would have to use a technique called skiving, to thin the leather and make it more flexible.

Like with the shadow hide, the blacksmith was able to use his trusty hammer and

to forge out a smaller piece of leather without losing any material. He just needed to be careful not to reinforce it accidentally, which would harden it.

The bard may not have been as practiced as the two masters, and he had not really done much leather work in a while, but gloves were nothing compared to the intricate mechanics he had fought with when building golems.

Once again, the infernal music shook the workshop when he stretched out the leather using Charon's Obol. The leather had to fit the plates, after all. Once the almost 1cm thick leather was brought to a 10th of its thickness, the music fell silent again.

Similar to the plates he cut from the sheet, he now cut the parts of the gloves from the piece of leather he prepared. Since they were already prepared with demonic power, the leftovers were stored for a later time.
