As their internal fluids moved, the light refracted off them, creating that sparkling effect.
In fact, they even emitted a faint glow of their own.
I had no idea how something like that was possible, but according to Xintu, the shimmering substance inside the Silver Silkworms was actually a form of energy.
Since the Silver Silkworms had devoured the Queen of the Flame Veil, which was saturated with nature’s energy, it made sense that they, too, would be brimming with it.
