Both the Tang Clan and the Beast Palace had assumed that they had been wiped out a hundred years ago, yet traces of their existence had been discovered.
Not only that, but they had already launched a preemptive attack.
Their last known refuge was said to be deep in the jungles of Yunnan, so it seemed that Mandok Shingun and my adoptive father intended to conduct a joint investigation before the Tang Clan members returned home.

‘If they barely managed to escape extermination, they should’ve just stayed hidden. Why rush to their own deaths?’
