I Became the Must-Have Character of the Academy City

The instructors at Orion Academy held a lengthy meeting to decide on the practical exam.

There had been an opinion early on that it would be good to have the cadets play a game of "bell stealing," but upon reflecting on recent events, the impression that it would be too soft couldn’t be shaken.

In order to make the second semester's education more substantial, a deeper understanding of the cadets was necessary.

Thus, the bell was moved from the cadets to the instructors, and a variety of evaluation criteria emerged.

Among them, one thing that all the instructors had a positive response to was:

The majority of the students at the academy were the children of prestigious families.

Those children, even if allowed to use every possible trick, would likely avoid crossing the line of common sense in order to maintain their dignity.

This could not continue. False dignity was just a shell that created meaningless deaths in real combat.

The instructors made it one of their goals to strip away as much of that dignity as possible during this test.

Separately, they were looking forward to what clever tricks the cadets might come up with.
