I am Liu Chuyu, the Shan Yin’s Princess.

I am a princess, a descendent of the golden branch and jade leaves.

From a very young age, I had learned the benefits brought by my status, that I could have whatever I wanted much more easily than most people in the world.

At that time, he was dressed in snow-white garments, sitting on a white horse, his glances shimmering, incomparably graceful.

I had never seen such a charming young man before, and couldn’t help but alight from my carriage to converse with him. The young man was extremely refined and courteous, his eyes slightly smiling, his speech sharp. He seemed to know everything under Heaven, and I always felt that I had to exhaust all my knowledge just to keep up with his conversation.

When we parted, I learned his name and his temporary residence. Back at the mansion, however, I couldn’t let go of my thoughts about him.

I had reached the age suitable for marriage. Not long before, my father had even asked me which young nobleman I fancied, and he would grant him to me as a prince consort.
