Chapter 327 - 288-end Juvenile Abridged Version_5
Rong Zhi wrapped his arms around her from behind. He didn’t offer any defense for himself, nor did he mention how he had survived the past year, and he didn’t bring up why he had deceived her. Raising his hand to support Chu Yu’s face, Rong Zhi turned her tear-stained face toward him to take a closer look. She was truly a mess from crying, her face covered in streaks of tears and her eyes bloodshot, still shimmering with moisture.
He had never seen her cry so unrestrainedly before, as if the emotional dam in her heart had burst and flooded over miles.
With a warm feeling caressing his heart, Rong Zhi smiled slightly and, turning his head, kissed her compassionately.
From her delicate eyebrows to her reddened eyelids, his soft lips grazed downwards like a butterfly flitting across her tear-streaked cheeks, brushing lightly over her slender chin.
He kissed her meticulously. His lips pressed closely, layering warmth upon warmth, until at last, he slowly pressed them against her lips.
Chu Yu gazed into Rong Zhi’s eyes with her own eyes wide open, the distance between them so close that her gaze instantly plunged into the bottomless abyssal sea.
She didn’t push Rong Zhi away but instead held him tighter, awkwardly and inexperience, responding to his kiss.
Lips grinding against each other, heat spread boundlessly across Chu Yu’s face. Out of shyness, or perhaps some other reason, tears streamed from the corners of her eyes again.
Cheek against cheek, in such tender intimacy, Chu Yu breathed faintly, her hands pressed against his shoulders to hold him still. She turned her face slightly away and called out softly, "Rong Zhi."
Seeing the shimmering water in her eyes, hearing the insecurity in her voice, understanding filled Rong Zhi’s heart. He replied calmly and steadily, "I’m here."
Chu Yu sighed in relief and called out again, "Rong Zhi..."
