“An electric hot pot… Right!” Zhong Xiaoshan’s eyes lit up. She pointed upstairs and said, “902 has a microwave and an induction cooker!”
Zhang Su made a quick decision. “I’ll go check it out!”

Zheng Xinyu was about to suggest going with him but stopped herself. Things weren’t like before anymore. There was no way they could let the newcomer, Zhong Xiaoshan, see how many supplies they had at home. She nodded and turned to help Zhang Su gather equipment.
“Be careful on the way to 902. The floor’s a mess, and it’s easy to trip. And whatever you do, keep an eye out for that zombie uncle. He’s barefoot, so you can’t hear him walking…” Zhong Xiaoshan stood nearby, reminding Zhang Su as he strapped on arm guards.
