Chapter 116: Thirtieth Floor, Rest Area (1)
[Not all climbers have conquered the twenty-ninth floor.]
[There is an undetermined amount of time until the rest period ends. Please take a rest]
Although considerable time had passed since my arrival in the waiting room, I still wasn’t sure how long I would have to wait until entering the thirtieth floor. Of course, the previous floor gave climbers four days to complete it, so finishing it in under two days meant I would likely have to wait a while. Right now, the other climbers were likely still scouring the storm-battered ship, hunting the killer amidst the chaos.
There’s bound to be at least one climber who never finds the murderer.
With nothing pressing to occupy me, I guessed I would just be lingering here for another two days. Even Ha Hee-Jeong was still on the twenty-ninth floor, leaving me with no one to chat with.
Ugh, I have nothing to do...
Lying idly on the bed, my mind drifted back to the twenty-ninth floor.
I tracked the killers quickly, but...
Even with how successful I had been, the floor had pushed me a lot more than others had. Since entering the Tower of Ordeal, I had come to realize that mental games weren’t my strong suit. I was prone to worry, and the more I tried to consider every possible outcome, the more tangled my thoughts became.
Living on a ship wasn’t exactly a breeze, either.
That was my first time spending more than a day on a boat. Fortunately, my physical endurance allowed me to overcome my discomfort, but those stormy seas were dizzying.
