Book 2 publication notice
Hi all,
I hope you'll forgive me for doing this, but I wanted to let you know that the official Amazon release of Book 2, The Druid, is today. It's now available for purchase in print, ebook, and audio. As with Ancient Things, I love the job Peter Kenny did on the narration and if you can spare an Audible credit, it's absolutely worth listening to. Also, ratings and reviews can help Amazon recommend the book to readers looking at similar things, and every bit helps.

Secondly, I'll probably have two more notices like this one--one when book 3 is released, and another when my next series is ready to start posting on NovelFire.
A bit about that next series. It's starting to come together in my mind and I'm developing an outline. I'll probably start writing actual chapters this week or next, but it'll be a while before you see any. I need to build up a backlog before I start posting, and I intend to open a Patreon this time. The story takes place in the same setting as the Land of Broken Roads, but several generations in the future. I'm thinking somewhere around 150 years, but I haven't nailed down a timeline yet. Humanity is growing stronger, due in large part to the tireless efforts of the Adventurer's Guild, but the Archenemy of Mankind also knows this and is increasing its efforts to fight back. It's a time of prosperity and turmoil and things could go downhill fast if everyone isn't careful. Some of the big plot threads from Dirt and Socks's adventurers are resolved, but some still linger. Anyone who sacrifices or performs piety to the gods is still answered by the Eye--except the main character of the next series, who, mysteriously, is the only living person the gods can hear.

Finally, we're still trying to find ways to get this book series noticed, and a few options have opened up. I don't want to over-promise, but we're hopeful that some of these other avenues will result in growing the audience. What I'd like to do, is take that last chapter of book 4 and expand those ideas into more or less a new novel, and then finish it off with book 6. So there's two more potential books in there to lead properly into the next series and someday I hope to write them. So don't give up on Dirt and Socks quite yet. Share these books with someone you think will enjoy them, and let's see what happens.
Warm Regards,
Ryan E
PS - I'll answer really spoilery questions about the plot and setting of the Land of Broken Roads in the discord, if you're curious about what was going on with anything. .gg/DxCDxmGkez
