Chapter 396; You are done already?
"Me too ... I want to join in!" Li Ruo didn’t want to be left behind, she would gladly assist if they needed help.
"Okay, you too... You can join in..." He walked over to the kitchen. He wanted to notify Nanny Wei of Tang Wei being shifted over to the mansion even though she saw her being moved while Ya Ya and Li Ruo went over to their bedroom to freshen up first before joining the others.
"Nanny Wei, after you are done cooking, you can serve her some light meals, probably some congee or oatmeal porridge as that’s what the doctors instructed us to give her first, and with some warm added glucose, she is currently sleeping and that’s why I will leave Tang Ning here with you..." Huo Zheng placed her down and she rushed over to her brother.
"Okay, I will do that, you don’t have to worry a thing! I will sleep in their room to watch over them" She assured him as she picked Tang Ning up and let her sit down on the barstool that was just at the counter while she and Tang Ying cooked.
"That would be good! As three two are just kids, I will leave the rest to you and please do call once anything happens!" After making sure it was settled he walked over to the elevator rode it up to the fourth floor, alighted, and walked over to the study room as he knew they could be there and hadn’t flown out, but Su Wei Wei did say they weren’t going out for this said mission.
The entrance door was left wide open and from the door, he could see Su Wei Wei seated on the carpeted floor her legs crisscrossed with her father beside her while Huo Shen sat there on his office chair leaning backward while his eyes were kept closed. His face didn’t have wrinkles which probably was taking a nap and not contemplating on anything.
Whatever happened in the marketplace didn’t reflect well on their image at all! They even had to send their pieces of luggage back to the Li family, and it was normal to feel down and heartbroken just realizing the people you grew up with weren’t as principled as you expected.
" You are done already? How so soon?" Huo Zheng who had kept his eyes closed grumbled irritated. He could smell his perfume from miles away and identify who it was without using his eyes. He thought Huo would be busy there fixing things for a while but he was done too soon than he expected. He hated sharing his woman’s attention with everyone who seemed to like her.
"Yeah! All settled and she is soundly sleeping at the moment, I even reminded Nanny Wei to prepare some porridge for her and serve her later on, so... I could say, everything is fixed and there’s nothing to be worried about!" He didn’t know why Huo Shen was salting for no reason. Su Wei Wei and him were just working, it’s not like he would steal her away from him.
