"No, they didn’t recognize them! I guess it’s been years, or maybe they recognized them but didn’t show it, you don’t have to worry! I won’t let them do anything the kids don’t want to until they are over twenty-four years old!" She had already promised her to take care of her siblings just in case of anything and that’s what she was going to do no doubt.
"Oooh..." She calmed down hearing that! The last thing she wanted was for that family to show up and reclaim her siblings, they were still underage and if it weren’t for the fact that they were being adopted by the Huo family, it wouldn’t have been that easy to avoid that family entirely.
"Yeah! So, you just need to recuperate, since you are recovering well, I think we should move you over to the mansion, I don’t know if it would be okay to share a room with your siblings or if you would want a room for yourself! You don’t have to worry, we have so many rooms to choose from and each van has his/hers but right now they are sleeping with my Momma and you do know why..." She sat on the bed and assisted her to sit on the hospital bed before letting her lean against the headboard. She was slightly weak even though she had been fed nutrients by the nostril pipes.
"Yeah, that would be awesome if I could be in the same space with them, I guess I’m used to that and they are afraid of being alone in a room!" She didn’t mind actually but opted to share a room with her siblings to have them close to her as she knew how traumatized they were with darkness.
"Okay then... I will go and arrange that right now..." With that, she rushed out of the wardroom over to the corridor, she could see Huo Shen and Huo Zheng standing apart in the distance. Were they fighting? Why were they glaring at each other like that? When are they going to behave?
"Huo Zheng, arrange for the guards to transfer her over to the mansion since she is recovering well! We don’t need to let her stay down here any moment longer..." She held her man’s hand and dragged him away.
"Okay, Missus! Right away!" Huo Zheng went back into the wardroom.
"Why are you looking that irritated all over again? Weren’t you happy a few minutes ago? Show me a bigger bedroom she can occupy with her siblings, and then instruct your guards to put things together and move the beds around the room as they would each need one..." She mumbled in one breath while dragging him away. He was behaving like a big baby who had been denied candy.
"You don’t have to worry about that, I will tell them to fix a room, and Huo Zheng can handle all of that without a problem and we shouldn’t bother with that! Since he is busy taking care of that, how about we complete the other mission you were planning to assign to him? I can do it too perfectly just like him!" This was what he wanted to hear what she was up to and the same reason he was rushing her back to the mansion leaving everything to be handled by Huo Zheng, while he was busy handling that, he would be assisting his woman in completing that mission, his mind also couldn’t feel settled without knowing what she was up to.
